Brothers Heth and Jed made a pact.
They wanted to see what would happen if they played over 300, 5 hour
shows this year.
What occurred was a study in Olympic drive and determination. Living in
New York City made it easy to find the audience. The boys hit the streets and
the subways playing daily, peddling their debut CD and selling tons of
copies in the process. All the playing helped the guys figure out which
songs were hot enough to propel their new CD “Between the In and the Out.”

Heth and Jed’s live show explodes the traditional concept of the “rock
band.” It was born out of necessity, while playing in the subways and on the
streets of NYC. Heth uses the technique of live sampling. Looping riffs and
chords and then drumming on his guitar. His style of playing and looping
draws comparisons from Jimmy Page and Hendrix to Pat Metheny. As they
play, the guys build layers of rhythmic and melodic loops. The songs morph
and grow into cool, ambient soundscapes that never sound the same way
twice.
